In addition to the ethnic festivals, Milwaukee is home to the nationally acclaimed Summerfest, the world's largest music festival. The eleven-day event features a variety of music from national headline acts to up-and-comers on 12 different stages.
The Great Circus Parade, a one-of-a-kind extravaganza that draws nearly one million spectators to downtown Milwaukee, is a delight for circus lovers of all ages. The Wisconsin State Fair combines agricultural traditions with the excitement of a contemporary event. Scheduled for completion in July 2002, the a new Expo Center will debut at the 2002 Wisconsin State Fair.
